Privacy policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
This policy covers The Deluxxe page at meatbagmade.com/the-deluxxe/, including its tape links and printable J-cards. The Deluxxe is a family band run by Odawni and Kevin under Meatbag Made. If you have a question, or want something removed, email us at meatbagmade@gmail.com.
The short version
We only get what you choose to send us: a sound through Tell the cook, or an email address for Today's special. We don't use cookies, analytics or ads on this page. We never sell or share what you send.
Sounds you send to the cook
Your microphone is only used after you press REC, and your browser asks your permission first. Nothing leaves your device until you press Send.
When you send a sound, we receive the recording, its length, the date and time, and the name for the credits if you give one. The recording is saved in a private folder on our web hosting and emailed to our band inbox so we can listen to it.
We use sounds to make music. If one ends up in a song, we credit you by the name you gave, or as a listener if you left it blank. Read our Terms of use for what sending a sound allows us to do. If you want a sound deleted, email us and tell us roughly when you sent it.
Your email address for Today's special
When you sign up, we save your email address and the date. It is kept in a private file on our web hosting, and we get an email letting us know you signed up.
We send one email when the next special is served, and nothing else. After we send it, we delete the list. We never add you to any other list, and we never share or sell your address. To be removed before then, email us and we will take you off.
Keeping out spam
To stop anyone from flooding the request line or the sign-up, we count how often each visitor sends something. We don't store your IP address for this. We store a scrambled, one-way version of it with the time, and we throw those counts away within a day.
What stays on your device
Songs you save to 107.7, A la carte, and the tape you are writing up are stored in your own browser so they are still there next time. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
A tape link, and the QR code on a printed J-card, carry the tape's name and its song numbers. Anyone you share the link or card with can see those.
Other companies involved
Our web host, IONOS, runs the server this page lives on and keeps standard server logs, as every web host does. Our band inbox is a Gmail account. The page's fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. Links to Bandcamp, Instagram and YouTube take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Kids
We are a family band and we love young listeners. Tell the cook and the email list are for people 13 and older. If you are younger, ask a parent or guardian to send the sound or sign up for you.
Changes
If we change what this page collects, we will update this policy and the date at the top.
